Smokin Aces, first I'd like to add that I usually love the whole genre of chaotic characters, with some sort of gangster affiliation such as Oceans 11, Snatch, or even The Italian Job. But this movie was terrible and if I wasn't so lazy I'd demand my $3.99 back. It was too many characters from too many backrounds, It would have taken all day to develop them, and it seemed like it was! Waiting for something to happen was simmilar to watching paint dry. The action scenes were just as you'd expect, and you figure out who the old mobster is pretty early on. I think it's let out on purpose to hide the real twist at the end. The only problem is when you find out the real ending, it would be like finding out Bruce Willis is a ghost in "The Sixth Sense" 10 min's in only to find out in the end "He wears a size 10 shoe". Real exciting. Besides that, too much going on and nothing going anywhere, a bad attempt to intertwine 20 or so people, when it should have been 10 with more substance. I didn't care about any of the characters and wished they all died. And what was with the Neo-Nazis, it was a mix between Brad Pit"Twelve Monkeys" and the Nihilits from "The big Lebowski" Except atempting to be a serious buch. In closing the only thing good about this movie was the retarded KUNG-FU kid. I do recomend that every movie should be seen at least once and this one only once. P.S this is comming from someone who loves "PuttiTang"Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
